Meet the people behind your marketing
Wing Woman Plus is a small, flexible marketing team based in St Neots and supporting businesses across the UK.
We bring strategy, content, design, websites and photography together, giving growing businesses the thinking and practical support they need without employing a complete in-house team.

(coffee in hand, of course).
Why we built Wing Woman Plus
Wing Woman Plus started with a simple belief: great marketing begins with understanding, empathy and some sh*t-hot creativity. We’d seen the same thing happen again and again: brilliant small businesses trying to juggle their own marketing alongside everything else. They either didn’t have the time, didn’t know where to start, or had tried getting help before and been left underwhelmed. They needed capable people who would take the time to understand their business, care about the outcome and get the work done.
So that’s what Lynnette set out to build.

But Wing Woman Plus was also shaped by something bigger. Lynnette’s lived experience showed her that traditional ways of working don’t work for everyone. Instead of building a typical agency, she created a business shaped by trust, flexibility and purpose. A place where people with different strengths, perspectives and life experiences can do genuinely great work.
That matters to our clients too.
It means you work with people who listen carefully, look at things from different angles and aren’t afraid to suggest a different approach. We take your business seriously, communicate with care and stay focused on creating work that is useful, thoughtful and true to you. As Wing Woman Plus has grown, one belief has stayed at the centre of everything:
Marketing should feel human – and it should work.
Because when people feel trusted and understood, ideas get better, relationships become stronger and businesses can grow in a way that lasts. That’s what we’re here to do.
What matters to us
People come first
We care about the people behind the business: our clients, their customers and the team doing the work. Good relationships make honest conversations and better work possible.
Creativity needs a purpose
We love strong ideas, thoughtful design and content with personality. But every creative choice should help someone understand, feel or do something.
Collaboration makes the work stronger
You know your business. We bring an outside perspective and a mix of marketing skills. Sharing that knowledge helps us create work that feels true to your business and useful to your audience.
Flexibility with clear priorities
Businesses change, plans move and unexpected things happen. We adapt without losing sight of what matters or pretending everything can be done at once.
Meet your Wing Women
Wing Woman Plus is made up of Lynnette and Tash. We bring different backgrounds, perspectives and creative strengths to the table, but share the same commitment to understanding your business and doing work we’re proud to put our names to.
Lynnette Ellison
Founder
Lynnette has spent 25 years building things from scratch across charity, recruitment and tech. She founded Wing Woman Plus in January 2024 after deciding small businesses deserved better marketing support from people who would genuinely care about their success.
She loves getting to know what makes a business tick: the ideas, the people, the ambitions and the bits that aren’t quite working yet. She’ll ask plenty of questions, spot opportunities you might have missed and create a safe space where you can test, tweak and try again.
Family and caring responsibilities are a huge part of Lynnette’s life. Parenting a child with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, alongside supporting her co-parent through leukodystrophy, has shaped how she thinks about time, work and what really matters.
It’s also why Wing Woman Plus was built around trust and flexibility. Lynnette understands that talented people don’t all fit neatly into traditional ways of working, and she’s passionate about creating opportunities for those who may otherwise be overlooked.
She’s big on community, brave ideas and doing business with heart. She brings that energy into the way she supports her team, her clients and the businesses they’re building together.
Lynnette also speaks on podcasts about building a business around caring responsibilities, leading differently, creating opportunities through business and making marketing work for small teams.

Did you know?
Lynnette usually has several mugs of tea on the go, has a slightly strange obsession with sharks and will become your biggest cheerleader within five minutes of meeting you. She’s the original Wing Woman – the person who will always have your back.

Natasha Davis
Creative alchemist and photographer
Tash brings visual thinking, careful attention to detail and a love of problem-solving to everything she does. She wants to understand how things work, why something doesn’t feel quite right and what could make the experience clearer, more accessible or more human.
Her route into marketing wasn’t conventional. With a degree in criminology, a creative brain and a strong instinct for looking beneath the surface, she approaches client work from different angles.
Tash is also a carer for her son, who has autism and severe haemophilia A. Traditional roles didn’t offer the flexibility her family needed, but Lynnette had created what felt like the unicorn of jobs: interesting, creative work that could fit around real life rather than asking her to choose between the two.
She joined Wing Woman Plus as an intern. Two years later, she’s still here – designing websites, developing visual ideas, solving client problems and helping shape the business alongside Lynnette. Having the space to work in a way that suits her brain and trust her instincts has unlocked a level of creativity and confidence she hadn’t expected.
Photography is another important part of Tash’s work. She has a particular eye for natural, candid moments and brings that perspective to Wing Woman Plus Content Capture sessions, helping clients build a useful bank of honest, human images for their websites and wider marketing.
Family, neurodiversity and creativity have all shaped the route that brought Tash here. She is also preparing to launch Twist of Candour Photography, her own photography business focused on capturing people and moments without forcing them into something they’re not.
Did you know?
Tash will always ask a question that leaves you scratching your head, is often up for a board game (or a Mario Kart battle) and can rarely remember a song’s lyrics unless it was released in the noughties. Then, somehow, she knows every word.
Think we’d work well together?
If you’re looking for a small team who’ll get to know your business, ask the questions others miss and get properly stuck in, let’s have a chat.
Your free discovery meeting is a chance to tell us what’s happening, what keeps getting stuck and where you’d value some support. There’s no obligation, and we’ll be honest about whether we’re the right people to help.
