Ongoing marketing support

A plug-in marketing team for small businesses that need consistent, joined-up marketing without hiring in-house or managing several freelancers.

We get to know your business, work out where your energy and budget will have the most impact, then help you plan and deliver the marketing that matters.

Whether you need social media management, email marketing, website content or a combination of support, we shape the work around your priorities.

When marketing needs more time than you can give it

You might recognise some of this:

  • You need people who can think strategically and get the work done.
  • Social media happens when someone remembers.
  • You have plenty of ideas, but they rarely make it out of your head.
  • Your website, email marketing and social content feel disconnected.
  • You are creating content without knowing whether it supports your wider goals.
  • Marketing keeps being squeezed around client work and everything else involved in running the business.

That is where ongoing support can help. You get a small team that learns how your business works, keeps track of the bigger picture and gives your marketing the attention it needs each month.

Looking for social media support?

You are in the right place.

We can plan, write, design, schedule and manage consistent social media content for your business. Before we start filling a content calendar, we look at what you want your marketing to achieve.

Social media may be exactly where your attention should go. Or your website, email marketing, messaging or content library might need work first. We will help you identify what deserves your time and budget, then build your support around it.

The result is content with a clear purpose, rather than activity created simply to keep a channel busy.

Then we get on with your marketing

Once the foundations are in place, we move into a steady rhythm of planning, creating and delivering the agreed work.

Your ongoing support could include:

Social media management

Planning, writing, designing, scheduling and managing content for the channels that matter to your business.

Email marketing

Planning, writing, designing and scheduling newsletters, customer updates and campaigns that help you stay connected with people who have chosen to hear from you.

Keeping key pages useful and up to date, creating articles and improving content so people and search tools can understand what you offer.

Creating clear, on-brand copy and designs for brochures, flyers, leaflets and other printed materials that support your wider marketing.

Keeping an eye on profile and content statistics, explaining what the data is telling us and using it to guide what we do next.

Your retainer gives you an agreed amount of our team’s time each month. You’ll know what we’re working on, what’s coming next and what we need from you. If priorities change, we’ll review the plan together.

You can send us photographs, short videos, customer questions, recent updates, rough ideas or a quick voice note. We will find the useful thread, develop it and turn it into content that sounds like you and supports the plan.

We can take care of the planning, writing, design and scheduling, so collaboration does not mean handing the workload back to you. It means keeping your marketing connected to the real business behind it.

You can add Content Capture to your ongoing support for an additional monthly fee.* This gives you a Content Capture session every six months and a fresh bank of natural photographs and video clips to use across social media, email campaigns, your website and wider marketing.

*The details and terms of the Content Capture add-on will be discussed and agreed with you before you sign your contract.

Support shaped around your business

Every business has a different starting point, budget and amount of internal capacity. We do not ask you to squeeze into a fixed package.

We agree on a monthly budget and a realistic scope of work, then focus it on the activity most likely to help. You will know what is included, what we are prioritising and what to expect before you decide to go ahead.

If your budget cannot cover everything at once, we will help you decide what to tackle first. We would rather give you a focused, useful recommendation than spread the work so thinly that nothing gets the attention it needs.

Frequently asked questions

We use the first month to understand your business, review what is already in place, agree your priorities and set up the practical side of working together. The exact work depends on your starting point. You will finish the month with a clear direction and an agreed plan for delivery.

We begin planning during the foundation month. The delivery schedule will depend on what we uncover, what materials are available and what needs to be prepared first. We will agree timings with you at the start, so you will know when your first content is due.

It can include social media management, email marketing, website and SEO content, campaign support, planning and performance reviews. We agree the right combination based on your goals, budget and available monthly time.

We start with what you want the business to achieve, who you need to reach and what is currently getting in the way. We then recommend where your budget and energy are likely to make the greatest difference. We review those priorities as the business develops.

We will need your insight, current updates and approval where agreed, but we keep the process light and practical. You can share information through meetings, voice notes, photographs, videos or rough ideas. We turn that material into finished content and manage the agreed delivery.

Yes. Your ongoing support can include planning, writing, designing and scheduling newsletters, customer updates and email campaigns. We will consider email alongside your other channels rather than treating it as a separate activity.

Yes. You can add a six-monthly Content Capture session to your retainer for an additional monthly fee. We plan the session around your upcoming content needs and create a fresh bank of photographs and short video clips for your marketing.

We do not use fixed packages because the right level and mix of support varies from one business to another. Your discovery meeting is free. We then recommend a realistic scope based on your priorities and available budget, with everything agreed before you commit.

Yes. We usually ask for a minimum three-month commitment for ongoing marketing support. This gives us time to put the foundations in place, deliver consistent activity and begin learning from the response.

Marketing rarely creates meaningful change overnight. Where possible, we recommend allowing around six months to build momentum, review what is working and make informed adjustments.

Any commitment and notice terms will be clearly explained before you sign your contract.

That is normal. We agree priorities together and can adjust them as new opportunities or challenges arise. If a change affects the agreed monthly scope, we will explain the options before doing additional work.
