Wing Woman Plus are a team rooted in trust, purpose and the people we work with.
Founded by Lynnette Ellison, a parent to a child with Duchenne muscular dystrophy and a passionate advocate for doing work differently, Wing Woman Plus was built to challenge the traditional rules of employment. After years in recruitment and the charity sector, it was one pivotal experience — working with Inspire2Ignite CIC — that changed everything.
Her work and change of outlook convinced her that she was ready to go out on her own, create her own rules and provide freedom for others which became the foundation for Wing Woman Plus: a space where people could truly thrive by being themselves.

At Wing Woman Plus, we are redefining employment and welcome those who are often left out on the periphery. We bring in the talents for those from the NEET community (not in education, employment or training) and people who for whatever reason, have simply not been given a fair shot. We’re changing the modern norms of employment to provide the best people and work in a truly diverse way. We don’t ask for CVs. We ask about your story, your spark, your passions. Because that’s where the magic lies.
Our very first team member, Tash, joined as an intern. She didn’t come with a conventional career path, but she brought heart, creativity and lived experience as a parent to a neurodivergent child.
That was all we needed to know she belonged here.
Today, she plays a central role in the team, shaping our creative output while building a work life that fits around her family.
